Description:
1. Used as the main raw material for electrolytic production of metallic magnesium, and also as a flux and refining agent for non-ferrous metals.
2. Widely used in magnesium oxychloride cement to produce fireproof boards, glass magnesium boards, artificial marble, floor tiles, partition panels and friction materials.
3. Applied as a high-efficiency snow-melting agent and de-icer for roads, bridges and airports. Also used as a dust suppressant on mining roads and construction sites.
4. Used as a flocculant in industrial wastewater for phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen removal, and as an additive for drinking water purification.
5. Serves as a key raw material for producing magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulfate and other magnesium-based chemicals.
6. Used as a dye-fixing agent and flame retardant in textiles, and as a reinforcing agent and retention aid in papermaking.
7. Applied as a strengthening agent for ceramic blanks and a binding agent for refractory materials.
8. Used as an additive in antifreeze solutions and industrial cooling systems.
